🚨 IS THE 21ST A CURSE FOR BITCOIN? THE LATEST BREAKOUT JUST COLLAPSED

If you are trading BTC, pay close attention to the calendar. October 21st just dealt another heavy blow to bullish traders.

Bitcoin's latest price push came to a sudden pause, wiping out millions in leveraged positions overnight. While this sell-off caught many late buyers by surprise, charts show that the 21st of the month has become a repeating danger zone for crypto markets.

1/ High Leverage Triggered Big Liquidations

This pullback was driven by overconfident traders taking on too much risk rather than bad news about the network itself.

  • In just a 4-hour window as Bitcoin dropped below $83,000, $91.19 million out of $95.22 million total crypto liquidations came from bullish "long" bets.

  • A single massive $11.78 million Bitcoin long position on Binance was forcibly closed at $83,526.

Before the dump, Santiment reported open interest near $23.4 billion. Derivatives trader Ted Pillows noted that late buyers got wiped out, driving funding fees back down near zero.

2/ The "21st of the Month" Pattern

Analyst Benjamin Cowen pointed out a strange, repeating trend in Bitcoin's price chart over the last few months:

  • July and September: Both months saw local price tops right on the 21st before prices fell back down.

  • August: An exception where price kept grinding slightly higher until peaking on September 3rd.

What's next? If this monthly cycle continues, Cowen suggests the next local top could form between October 21st and November 3rd (around the US Presidential Election), followed by a potential bottom in mid-November.

3/ Important Price Levels to Watch

Traders and analytics platforms like Glassnode and Ted Pillows are watching key support and resistance numbers closely:

Key Resistance ($83,700 – $87,500):

  • Bitcoin needs to climb back above $83,700 for buyers to regain control.

  • Glassnode highlights $85,000 to $87,500 as a heavy supply wall packed with sell orders.

Key Support ($80,000 – $81,900):

  • If Bitcoin fails to hold above $82,600, it could drop quickly toward $81,900.

  • The ultimate safety line is $80,000. Falling below this puts spot ETF buyers and funds into a loss, with the broader "True Market Mean" sitting near $77,600.

🧠 Summary

The 21st pattern shows how quickly over-leveraged markets can flush out greedy traders. Keep your risk low and watch whether Bitcoin can hold above $80,000 before the early November US election.

Why Overseas Producers Can't Undercut Atlas Salt, Even for Free

Cities are already running short on road salt, and winter hasn't even started. Some supply bids are going unanswered, prices have nearly doubled in parts of the market, and the backup plan is two weeks away by boat. Here's why Atlas Salt (TSXV: SALT | OTCQX: SALQF) can get salt to the people who need it most, faster and cheaper than anyone shipping from overseas:

• Three days by ship to Boston, not fourteen

• Shallow deposit that's cheaper and faster to mine

• Projected C$188M a year in free cash flow

• Export Development Canada interested in lending C$150M

• Early supply deal with top U.S. salt distributor

🧩 CLAUDE AI SOLVES A 17-YEAR BITCOIN MYSTERY FROM SATOSHI

For 17 years, a small puzzle hung over the birth of $BTC ( ▼ 0.12% ). Satoshi Nakamoto released the original code for the cryptocurrency back in 2009, but nobody could recreate the exact Windows program file that Satoshi released at the time.

Now, a software developer claims to have solved this puzzle using AI. A developer known as T4T5 used Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 to rebuild the exact computer setup Satoshi used back in 2009.

The result is impressive: the newly built bitcoin.exe file is a 100% exact match to Satoshi's original file, right down to the SHA-256 security code and every single byte of data.

1/ How AI Showed How Satoshi Built Bitcoin

Recreating the file was much harder than most people realized. The original BTC software wasn’t made to be easily recreated.

Even a tiny change in the programming tools, software libraries, or a line break would change the final program file completely. T4T5 had to rebuild the full development setup using old tools from between 2006 and 2008.

The GitHub project now gives us fresh details about how Satoshi worked:

  • Satoshi seems to have used Windows XP with MinGW GCC 3.4.5.

  • He built most of Bitcoin in "debug mode," but heavily speed-boosted the math part used for mining coins.

  • He updated some of his coding tools midway through making the project.

2/ Is the True First Bitcoin Program Still Missing?

The investigation also brought a bigger shock to light. The well-known program file called Bitcoin 0.1.0 is actually version 0.1.1, built on January 10, 2009, just 2 days after Bitcoin was first announced.

No confirmed copy of the exact program released on January 8, 2009, has ever been found.

Rebuilding this file proves that the preserved 2009 software came directly from Satoshi's published code without any hidden or suspicious extra code added inside.

3/ Why This Matters for Crypto History?

This discovery does not change Bitcoin's security today. However, it gives Bitcoin historians something very useful: a clear record of how the very first crypto software was put together.

Even though AI helped us learn more about how BTC started, the exact program file from the launch day remains missing. The search for the real first Bitcoin program goes on.
