Crypto ETF flows are sending mixed signals. $BTC ( ▲ 2.22% ) managed to attract $23.2M in inflows on October 20, while ETH, SOL, and HYPE all saw money leaving their ETFs.

With inflation concerns and interest rate uncertainty still weighing on the market, investors appear to be favoring Bitcoin over altcoins.

Is this just a temporary slowdown, or a sign of more selling pressure ahead?

🚀 ELON HINTS AT TESLA & SPACEX MERGER AS SPACEX CRUSHES Q3 2026 EARNINGS

Elon Musk just dropped huge updates on a potential merger between Tesla and SpaceX, alongside mind-blowing Q3 2026 earnings for SpaceX.

1/ The Potential Tesla x SpaceX Merger

Elon Musk confirmed that both Tesla and SpaceX boards have set up independent committees to look into a possible merger after shareholders requested it.

Because he has a direct personal interest in both companies, Elon removed himself from the decision-making process to avoid conflicts of interest.

Musk called the merger a "good idea," adding that we are getting very close to the superintelligence singularity. Any deal must be approved by at least 50% of Tesla shareholders, which Musk noted is a huge hurdle.

If merged, the combined giant would be worth roughly $3.5 Trillion ($2 Trillion for SpaceX + $1.5 Trillion for Tesla), making it one of the largest mergers in history.

Musk stressed that no terms are agreed upon yet and there is no guarantee a deal will happen.

2/ SpaceX Q3 2026 Financial Highlights

During the Q3 earnings webcast, Musk dropped a massive projection for SpaceX's Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). SpaceX could reach an ARR between $500 Billion and $1 Trillion by 2027.

Hitting the $1 Trillion top end strictly depends on how fast they can expand their computing and AI hardware capacity.

q3-2026-highlights

SpaceX released its Q3 2026 earnings report after market close on October 20, 2026, blowing analyst expectations out of the water:

  • Total revenue reached $14.6 billion (up 161% year-over-year from $5.6B, beating expected estimates of $12.7B–$13.2B).

  • Net profit made $4.4 billion in profit (reversing a $1.1 Billion loss from the same period last year).

  • Adjusted EBITDA came in at $8.81 billion (up 306% year-over-year, beating forecasts by 34%).

  • Diluted EPS hit $0.35 per share, way higher than expected forecasts ($0.13–$0.16).

3/ What Drove The Growth?

SpaceX’s new revenue drivers performed insanely well this quarter:

  • Super Intelligence: Includes cloud services, AI models, and applications like Grok. Revenue exploded by 830% to $7.56 Billion, becoming the main growth engine.

  • Connectivity (Starlink): Grew 69% to $5.25 Billion, bringing total individual Starlink subscribers to 13.6 Million.

  • Space Launch: Grew slightly by 6% to $1.77 Billion, completing 35 rocket launches in the quarter.

  • Big Capital Spending (Capex): SpaceX spent $19.59 Billion, with $16.44 Billion dedicated specifically to AI infrastructure.

$SPCX ( ▼ 0.12% ) closed at $147.79 (down 0.11% during regular hours). After the blow-out earnings report and merger teasers were released, the stock jumped up to $150.13 (+1.58% to +8% swing).

While Starlink subscriber growth shows real market demand, retail investors are closely watching whether SpaceX's massive AI infrastructure spending will keep turning into steady, long-term paying customers.

❝

🧠 Quick Summary:

Core protocols and financial balance sheets at SpaceX are running at full power thanks to AI and Starlink.

However, whether a $3.5 Trillion Tesla-SpaceX merger actually goes through rests entirely in the hands of shareholders and regulators over the next few quarters.

Silver Miners Have Outrun Silver Since 2020

Since March 2020, silver has returned about 402%. The silver miners returned 445%.

That gap is the leverage our research team focuses on. When silver rises, a producer's net asset value can rise much faster, and share prices tend to follow. It works in both directions, and a mine is only as good as the company running it.

The Ultimate Silver Playbook shows how the team separates the miners worth owning from the rest, and which silver stocks are on its watchlist now. It's free.

📈 BITCOIN WILL OUTPERFORM US STOCKS AND GOLD OVER THE NEXT 10 YEARS?

JPMorgan Asset Management has officially included BTC in its annual long-term market report for the first time.

The bank projects that Bitcoin will deliver higher returns than major US stocks, gold, and real estate over the next decade, though it comes with much higher risk.

1/ Expected Annual Returns over 10–15 Years

In its 31st annual Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions (LTCMA) report, JPMorgan evaluated over 200 asset classes to help institutions plan their investments.

  • Bitcoin Expected Compound Return: 10% per year

  • US Small-Cap Stocks: 7.7% per year

  • US Large-Cap Stocks: 7.5% per year

  • Real Estate (REITs): 8.2% per year

  • Gold: 5.5% per year

  • Private Equity: 9.8% per year

  • High-Yield Bonds: 6.6% per year

  • Standard 60/40 Portfolio (Stocks/Bonds): ~7% per year

2/ High Returns, Heavy Volatility

While Bitcoin tops the return list, JPMorgan stresses that it is by far the most volatile asset mentioned in the report. Bitcoin's price is expected to swing up to 55% per year, which is 3x higher than US large-cap stocks (18%) and gold (17.2%).

Because big price drops require huge gains just to break even, Bitcoin's average annual return looks high at 20.9%, but the actual compounded math settles at 10% per year.

Under a bullish scenario, Bitcoin could average 16.6% annual returns, while a bearish scenario could see average losses of 11.2% per year.

3/ Why JPMorgan Still Isn't Recommending BTC Yet?

Despite predicting high returns, JPMorgan is not telling its clients to buy Bitcoin just yet. The bank keeps Bitcoin in a separate analysis model rather than its main asset allocation strategy.

Bitcoin's price shifts unpredictably compared to traditional markets, making it hard to prove that it reliably balances a regular portfolio.

JPMorgan views Bitcoin as a speculative hedge against easy-money central bank policies rather than a stable diversification tool.

4/ Industry Reaction & Market Context

Matt Hougan, Chief Investment Officer at Bitwise, noted that after years of being ignored or mocked, Bitcoin is finally being recognized by top banking institutions.

However, he believes JPMorgan's return estimates are too low and its risk estimates are too high (Bitwise projects Bitcoin could reach $1.3 million by 2035).

The report comes while Bitcoin trades around $81,500 following recent US inflation data that sparked fears of higher Fed interest rates, showing how sensitive the asset still is to economic news.
