Most crypto investors don’t lose because they can’t read charts. They lose because they don’t know when to take profits.
A portfolio can look amazing in a bull market, then give back 40%, 50%, even 70% because FOMO convinced you to keep holding. The real advantage is having cash ready when the next opportunity appears.
In this guide, we break down:
Why market timing matters more than constantly trading
How taking profits can create financial leverage for the next cycle
How Bitcoin’s halving cycle can help define buying and selling windows
Why interest-rate trends may give another clue about when liquidity is returning
The core idea is simple: Don’t try to predict the perfect price. Prepare for the right window.

🤖 META HITS $64.6B Q3, ANNOUNCES 2-FOR-1 STOCK SPLIT & FLEXES 10M MUSE USERS
Big Tech earnings season is officially underway. Meta just dropped one of its strongest quarters yet, and the bigger story isn’t Facebook or Instagram.
It’s AI.
Q3 revenue hit a record $64.6B, up 26% YoY, beating Wall Street’s ~$63.3B estimate. EPS came in at $3.83, dragged down by a $9.89B legal charge; without it, Meta says EPS would have been $7.40.

1/ Muse is already scaling fast
Meta says more than 10M people in the U.S. and Canada have set up its Muse personal agent, with about 25% using it on any given day.
The wild part?
Shopping is already Muse’s biggest use case, with the average purchase above $200. Meta also says personal productivity and connected-service workflows are growing quickly.
Zuckerberg expects Muse’s compute efficiency to improve 10x next year, which could eventually make the product highly profitable at scale.
=> That’s a pretty important signal: Meta wants AI to become a direct commerce + enterprise revenue engine.
2/ Meta just created a new stock class to fund AI
Meta also announced a new non-voting Class C stock, distributed as one share for every existing Class A or B share - effectively a 2-for-1 split.

The real reason is capital flexibility.
Meta says the new shares can be used for fundraising, employee compensation, acquisitions, and other corporate needs, while preserving the voting power of existing shareholders and Zuckerberg’s control.
But Zuckerberg's new shares come with some strings attached. Under the Founder Alignment Agreement signed October 20:
20% of his new Class C shares can be sold freely.
The remaining 80% are restricted. To sell them, he generally must also sell or convert a corresponding number of voting shares, reducing his voting power.
An additional 2.5% of his original Class C allocation becomes unrestricted each quarter he continues serving in a full-time leadership role, potentially releasing the full 80% over 8 years.
Zuckerberg also withdrew his request for a new performance-based pay package, kept his $1 salary, and agreed to remain a California resident for 8 years.
→ Translation: Meta now has another tool to raise money for the AI arms race without diluting founder control in the same way.
3/ The AI spending is still enormous
Meta raised the low end of its 2026 capex guidance to $135B-$145B, with spending going into servers, data centers, and network infrastructure.
The AI story is starting to generate real usage and revenue potential, but it still requires monster infrastructure spending.
🧠 My take
Muse has users. Shopping activity is showing up. Ads are benefiting. Enterprise products are scaling.
Now Meta is literally reshaping its stock structure to keep financing the buildout. Can Muse become big enough to justify $135B+ in annual capex?

🚀 AERODROME & VELODROME MERGE INTO AERO - ONE DEX ACROSS 7 CHAINS
Aerodrome and Velodrome are officially becoming one.
The two DEXs are merging into Aero, a new onchain spot exchange launching across 7 networks: Ethereum, Base, Robinhood Chain, Ink, OP Mainnet, Arc, and Arbitrum.

Aerodrome already handled 58% of DEX volume on Base in Q3, while Velodrome controlled 60% on OP Mainnet.
Now they’re taking that same model and spreading it across chains that process roughly $120B in monthly DEX volume.
1/ $AERO + $VELO become one token
The merger also means a full token migration. Existing $AERO ( ▼ 4.16% ) and $VELOD ( ▲ 0.22% ) tokens will move into a new AERO token, while veAERO and veVELO positions will convert into sAERO.
Aero says 100% of protocol revenue will flow back to people staking AERO.
So instead of running 2 separate ecosystems with split liquidity and incentives, the team is trying to concentrate everything into one token, one liquidity layer, and one revenue engine.
2/ Liquidity gets smarter
Aero is introducing a system called Predictive Allocation.
Basically, stakers can direct liquidity-reward budgets toward markets they think will generate the most revenue.

→ Instead of blindly paying liquidity everywhere, rewards can move toward pools that are actually productive.
If that works, Aero could become much more capital-efficient than traditional emissions-heavy DEX models.
3/ One exchange, multiple chains
Aero is also launching Metaswaps, designed to connect trades across different networks using existing onchain liquidity.
And Slipstream V3 adds dynamic fees that rise when markets get volatile, plus MEV capture on supported L2s.
DEX liquidity is still fragmented. Same assets, different chains, different pools, different fees. So, Aero is basically betting that the future is one liquidity network sitting across many chains.
