🃏 POKÉMON CARDS BEAT BITCOIN, GOLD & S&P 500 WITH 150% RETURNS!
Forget traditional stocks and crypto for a second. Rare Pokémon cards are quietly crushing some of the biggest financial assets in the world!!!
According to fresh data, the CardTrack 100 index (which tracks the total value of the top 100 most expensive Pokémon cards globally) has skyrocketed 150.7% since September 2021. Collectors are treating rare cards like serious, high-value alternative investments.
1/ Beating Bitcoin, Gold, and the Stock Market
To see how wild this growth is, imagine you invested $5,000 four years ago:
Pokémon cards (CardTrack 100): Your $5k would now be worth about $12,534.
Gold: The exact same $5k in gold would turn into roughly $12,390.
Bitcoin: Would give you about $9,800.
S&P 500: The stock market index only grew about 73%, leaving you with around $8,650.

CardTrack 100 vs Bitcoin, gold & the S&P 100
Just a few days ago on September 29, the CardTrack 100 hit an all-time high total value of $253,800, and right now it sits just 1.2% below that peak at $244,750.
2/ Why Are Pokémon Cards Worth Millions?
People are starting to value rare cards the same way they value famous fine art. Earlier this year, a rare 1998 Pikachu Illustrator card sold for a jaw-dropping $16.5 million, pushing the market ceiling higher than ever.
Recently, 4 rare e-Reader cards (including Skyridge Gengar) just sold for a combined $780,000, while a 1st Edition Charizard reportedly hit a record $1.38 million.
eBay confirmed that Pokémon was the most-searched term in its collectibles category for the first half of 2026. Plus, card grading giant PSA stated that trading card games now make up half of their total business.
🧠 My Analysis
Rare cards have turned into a powerhouse asset class thanks to a mix of extreme scarcity, professional grading, pure nostalgia, and wealthy collectors entering the market.
While it's a niche space, it proves that value isn't just locked inside digital tokens or Wall Street stocks anymore, sometimes, it's sitting right inside a protective plastic slab in mint condition.

🚨 LEDGER HARDWARE WALLET: OVER $86M DRAINED ACROSS ETH, TRON & BTC
If you or anyone you know uses a Ledger hardware wallet, pay close attention. A massive, ongoing security incident has hit Ledger users, with reports showing over $86 million in crypto drained across $BTC ( ▲ 0.49% ), $ETH ( ▲ 1.79% ), and $TRON ( ▲ 1.21% ) networks.
Security researchers are sounding the alarm, and Ledger has officially stepped in to pause sales through a major distributor while investigations are underway.
1/ $86 Million Losses
Reports began flooding in after security researchers and on-chain analysts noticed hundreds of victim wallets getting emptied simultaneously across multiple blockchains.
On-chain analyst Specter reported that total losses have crossed $86 million and are still rising as more victims come forward.

Blockchain data shows at least 3 Bitcoin addresses linked to the attacker currently holding around 211 BTC. As of late Friday, those funds remained parked in mempool-tracked wallets without being moved.
→ Ledger has not yet confirmed the exact technical details of how the funds were drained or whether the devices themselves were physically tampered with before reaching customers.
2/ Source: Distributor "CryptoBilis" Under Scrutiny
Ledger Support issued an urgent statement pointing directly to CryptoBilis, an official South East Asian distributor that has been selling Ledger products since 2020 out of Malaysia, with active operations in Indonesia and the Philippines.
Ledger officially ordered CryptoBilis to immediately pause all sales, shipping, and distribution of Ledger devices while they investigate potential supply chain tampering.
If you bought a Ledger device from CryptoBilis within the last 90 days, do not set it up or use it.
If you are already using a Ledger bought from CryptoBilis recently, Ledger strongly advises you to immediately move your crypto to a safe, completely independent wallet and create a brand-new 24-word seed phrase.
3/ Is This Fake Hardware? A History of Supply Chain Risks
To be honest, this isn't the first time hardware wallets have faced supply chain or tampering scares. Look at this list:
Fake Ledgers (April 2024): Researchers previously found fake Ledger units sold on Chinese e-commerce platforms that were pre-programmed to secretly leak PIN codes and 24-word recovery phrases directly to scammers.
Coldcard Bug (August 2023): Competitor Coldcard suffered a software flaw that resulted in roughly $70 million lost by Bitcoin holders.
Buying hardware wallets through third-party resellers or unofficial storefronts always carries the risk that someone intercepted, modified, or loaded malicious firmware onto the device before it hit your doorstep.
🧠 My Final Note for You!
Hardware wallets are supposed to be the gold standard for cold storage, but this situation shows that supply chain security is just as critical as software security.
If a third-party seller can tamper with a device before you open the box, your seed phrase is compromised before you even generate it.
If you hold funds on a Ledger purchased through resellers, stay cautious. Transfer your assets to a verified software wallet or an untouched device bought directly from the manufacturer until Ledger completes its official investigation.
