🚨 $TRUMP CRASHES 20% AFTER MIDTERM DEFEAT. IS HIS CRYPTO EMPIRE NEXT?
Bitcoin bounced after the U.S. midterms, but Trump's crypto empire? It got absolutely rekt.
After Democrats swept both chambers of Congress on November 3, $TRUMP ( ▼ 14.3% ) plunged to a record low of $1.23, losing over 20% from its election-night price of $1.58.
And the damage didn't stop there.
Trump-backed $WLFI ( ▼ 8.26% ) and Trump Media ($DJT ( ▼ 24.54% )) also took a beating, as investors began pricing in a new political headache: Congressional investigations into Trump's crypto businesses.
1/ Trump's crypto tokens are bleeding
While $BTC ( ▲ 2.05% ) recovered above $80K, Trump-linked assets went the opposite way.

Trump family crypto coins sink up to 19% after Democrats win Congress.
Here's how ugly things got:
The timing suggests investors may be reassessing the value of Trump's political influence, although the election isn't necessarily the only reason these assets dumped.
And there's a bigger threat ahead…
2/ Democrats could put Trump's crypto deals under the microscope
With Democrats taking control of Congress, Trump's business ventures could face much tougher scrutiny starting January 2027.
New committee chairs will gain subpoena powers, allowing them to demand documents and testimony.
Two major targets could be:
World Liberty Financial ($WLFI): Lawmakers have questioned its connections to a $2B investment in Binance involving USD1, the project's stablecoin.
$TRUMP memecoin: Democrats have already requested information about Trump's exclusive dinner for major token holders, raising questions about whether crypto purchases could buy political access.
The White House has denied allegations of conflicts of interest.
Importantly, congressional investigations don't automatically mean criminal charges or wrongdoing.
🧠 Political hype is a risky investment
Traders are starting to separate the broader crypto market from assets whose appeal is heavily tied to one politician.
If investors bought $TRUMP hoping to benefit from Trump's influence, a less friendly Congress could make that bet look a lot riskier.
And with fresh investigations potentially coming, the biggest question isn't whether $TRUMP can bounce. It's whether buyers still see a reason to hold it.

🧨 FRENCH BANK HACKED FOR $133M! HACKERS LAUNDER TRADFI CASH INTO MONERO & ETH!
This time the target wasn't a crypto exchange. It was a traditional French bank, and the stolen money allegedly ended up moving across multiple crypto networks.
French banking giant Crédit Mutuel Arkéa has officially confirmed a cyberattack after onchain investigator ZachXBT flagged more than $133 million in suspected losses on November 2.
The bank hasn't confirmed the exact damage yet, but it acknowledged that the reported figure is broadly in the right ballpark.
1/ $133M allegedly stolen. Here's how the money moved
According to ZachXBT, attackers exploited the bank's systems to execute fraudulent transfers, then converted the funds into crypto through several platforms.

Source: Investigations by ZachXBT
Here's the trail he uncovered:
USDC → ETH: Stolen funds were swapped into Ethereum.
Instant exchanges: Assets were routed through platforms including WellWallet and Kyrrex.
ETH → XMR: Some funds were converted into Monero ($XMR), making further tracing more difficult.
Cross-chain transfers: The attacker also bridged assets across multiple networks.
ZachXBT said he has a high degree of confidence that the attacker wasn't connected to North Korea's Lazarus Group.
The good news? Some stolen funds have already been blocked.
2/ The bank says customer funds are safe
In its November 4 statement, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa confirmed that:
Client assets were unaffected.
The attack has been contained.
Some transfers were delayed during the incident.
Security measures were immediately activated to prevent further fraudulent movements.
The bank hasn't disclosed the final loss figure, but insists the incident won't threaten its financial stability.

For context, Arkéa has over 5.8 million customers and members, with approximately $238.1B in total assets.
🧠 Traditional finance has its own security nightmares
We've spent years hearing about crypto hacks, exchange exploits, and stolen DeFi funds. Now we're seeing a major traditional bank suffer a cyberattack that allegedly pushed over $133M into crypto.
There's another interesting angle: Crypto's transparency can help investigators follow stolen money, even when attackers move between chains, exchanges, and privacy-focused assets.
But the Monero conversion shows how quickly tracing can become more complicated.
One thing is clear: Whether you're dealing with a traditional bank or a crypto exchange, security remains a massive risk. And this time, the hackers went straight for the bank.
