Silver Is Up 402% Since 2020. Gold, 186%

Silver has more than doubled gold's return since March 2020, even after a 53% correction from its January peak.

Our research team sees a familiar pattern. Silver's returns more than doubled gold's from 1974 to 1987. After the financial crisis, silver beat gold five-fold in three years.

The reason is size. In 2025, investors put about $15.6 billion into physical silver and silver ETFs, against $111.2 billion for gold. Small inflows move silver hard.

Silver is also in its sixth straight annual supply deficit. The Ultimate Silver Playbook explains what the team expects next. It's free.

Most crypto hacks don’t start with some genius hacker “breaking the blockchain.” They start with one weak point.

A bad approval. A stolen key. A compromised bridge. A fake link. Sometimes just one careless click.

The scary part? A lot of these attacks don’t rely on impossible technical tricks. They rely on trust, permissions, and one small mistake at the wrong time. 👇

🛡️ BLACKROCK WANTS A “SAFER” BITCOIN ETF - UPSIDE TO $BTC, WITH DOWNSIDE PROTECTION

BlackRock isn't done eating the crypto world. The Wall Street giant just submitted a brand-new filing with the SEC for the iShares Bitcoin Managed Protect ETF - a fund specifically designed to give investors upside exposure to $IBIT ( ▲ 0.33% ) while capping their downside risk.

If you thought institutional adoption peaked with spot ETFs, Larry Fink is now building full-on risk-hedged financial armor for TradFi wealth managers.

1/ How the "Buffer" strategy works

According to the SEC filing, the new fund aims to match the gains of BlackRock's flagship $65B+$IBIT fund up to a capped limit, while simultaneously buffering against market drops.

How do they pull this off? Options strategies. The fund will actively manage put and call options on $IBIT (or similar BTC exposure) to create a defined-outcome structure.

  • The Upside: Investors capture $IBIT gains up to a predetermined cap.

  • The Downside: If Bitcoin nukes, options contracts absorb a significant portion of the loss.

2/ Why TradFi needs this right now

While crypto degens embrace 50x leverage and -30% volatility spikes for breakfast, boomer financial advisors and pension funds run away in terror.

By wrapping Bitcoin in a downside protection layer, BlackRock is directly targeting boomer wealth managers who want exposure to BTC's generational upside without risking client capital in a violent draw-down. It’s basically institutional-grade training wheels for Bitcoin.

🧠 The $BTC supremacy signal

Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart made an elite observation: while competitors are spamming SEC filings for $XRP ( ▼ 0.13% ), $SOL ( ▼ 0.39% ), and DOGE ETFs, BlackRock remains laser-focused on Bitcoin and Ethereum only.

This is their third Bitcoin-specific product (after spot $IBIT and their covered-call income ETF). BlackRock isn't interested in altcoin casino noise right now; they are building a massive, diversified institutional moat around $BTC ( ▼ 0.9% ).

When the largest asset manager on Earth keeps building structured products on top of $IBIT, you know the long-term bid isn't going anywhere. Protect your stack, fam!

🧨 FRANCE NOW PAYS MORE THAN ITALY TO BORROW. EUROPE’S DEBT CRISIS NEXT CATALYST?

After a weekend of violent unrest, France’s 10-year government bond yield jumped to roughly 4.9%, while the spread versus German Bunds widened to about 146 bps. That puts French borrowing costs around - and briefly above - Italy’s, a country markets have historically treated as the riskier borrower.

If you think sovereign debt drama in the EU doesn't affect your crypto portfolio, think again.

1/ The dominoes are falling

France is caught in a classic fiscal death loop:

  • Yield Spreads Blowing Out: The spread between French and German 10-year bonds widened to ~149 bps (up from 85 bps in September).

  • Deficit Crisis: France’s budget deficit is projected to hit 5.4% of GDP this year - shattering the EU’s 3% statutory limit.

  • Banking Bloodbath: Major French banks (BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole, Société Générale) dropped 2%+ in a single session. The benchmark CAC 40 index is already down 10% from its August high.

  • EUR Weakness: The Euro slipped toward $1.12 against the USD, making imports and energy even more expensive for European households.

2/ The downgrade threat

Moody’s reviews France’s Aa3 rating this Friday (Oct 23), followed by S&P in late November. Both currently sit on negative outlooks.

If credit agencies downgrade French debt, yields will spike further, pushing borrowing costs even higher and forcing the European Central Bank (ECB) into a tight corner.

🧠 Why crypto degens should watch this

Whenever sovereign bond yields blow out and government debt becomes unsustainable, central banks are eventually forced to intervene.

France needs €54 billion in budget cuts for 2027, but Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu lacks a parliamentary majority to pass it. When governments can't cut spending and yields get dangerously high, the ECB’s emergency playbook usually ends in one outcome: printing money (Yield Curve Control / QE) to bail out the bond market.

Fiat currency debasement and European sovereign risk are the exact reasons Bitcoin was created. If EU debt markets start cracking, expect capital flight searching for hard assets and self-sovereign hedges like $BTC. Keep an eye on Friday's Moody's review 🙂.
